Thomas Maupin
Thomas Maupin, 69, is a self-described flat foot buck dancer who will perform at the Silver Stars finals just weeks shy of his 70th birthday. Thomas was born and grew up in Eagleville, Tenn. He and his wife, Beulah, have been married for 47 years. They have two daughters, Deana and Danyale, four grandchildren, Michael, Anita, Sara, and Daniel, and one great-granddaughter. Thomas is retired from his career with Avco, in the aviation industry.  

"I grew up dancing with my family," Thomas says. "I have my own style of buck dance, with a flat-foot style. I like to be part of the music, and I let it tell my body what to do."
