Moonlight & Memories
Moonlight & Memories is a dynamic trio who perform the music of the Big Band era in close harmonies and solos, featuring the songs and sounds of Glenn Miller, the Andrews Sisters, Johnny Mercer, and many others. The group appears often at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, played the Birdland in New York City, performed at the opening of the State Fairgrounds, and appears in clubs and corporate and private parties around Nashville.

Carole Shaw, 73, is a veteran of live TV, having appeared on shows by all the big names, including Ed Sullivan, Steve Allen, Jack Paar, and George Gobel , plus many more national TV shows of the time. She recorded for Capitol and Verve Records, including a hit recording of “Careless.” She has been seen on every major modern talk show, from The Phil Donahue Show to Oprah, as spokeswoman for Big Beautiful Woman Magazine, the world’s first fashion magazine for the large-size woman, which she owned and founded. Carole was a regular on NBC’s The Home Show and had a line of clothing on the Home Shopping Network.

Danny Winchell, 83, is a stand-up performer with a history of headlining at major nightclubs in New York, Boston, Montreal, and Miami Beach. Danny had a hit record of “Carolina In The Morning” on MGM Records. He appeared as a special guest on The Merv Griffin Show. He is the founder and president of “The Entertainers Of The Catskills.” Danny was host and producer of “Showtime in the Catskills” on WPIX-TV. He was also the producer of the hit record “Blue Moon” by the Marcels in 1960.

Lisa Webb, 50, studied music in Missouri and Texas, receiving her master’s degree in composition from North Texas State in 1985. Later, she wrote and performed in Los Angeles, as well as being part of the Los Angeles Jazz Choir, a group that performed and recorded with Rosemary Clooney, Steve Allen, Bob Hope, and Linda Ronstadt, among others. For the past four years, she has served as musical director of the aftershow party of the Academy of Country Music Awards. She continues to perform at numerous locations around the country, including The Loew’s Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville.
