Lucius Talley
Lucius Talley, 70, is a native Nashvillian and a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier. He and his wife, Kathleen, have been married for 28 years and have three children and three grandchildren.

In addition to his talent with the spoons, Lucius also plays the drums and various woodwind instruments, including the clarinet and saxophone. He loves to listen to all types of music. He also enjoys skating in his spare time.

Lucius’ spoon-playing has led him to performances in a wide range of venues, from churches and restaurants to cruise ships, retirement homes, and youth organizations, both in the U.S. and internationally. He says, “It’s something that I enjoy doing for fun, and I get joy from seeing the smiles on the faces of the youth and all those who are present.”
