Gene and Kay Farmer
Gene and Kay Farmer love to dance, and it shows in their impressive East Coast Swing repertoire. The couple has been married for 15 years.

Gene, 66, grew up in Oklahoma and is a semi-retired business owner with five grandchildren and a passion for golf and playing cards with friends. He says he’s been a HealthSpring Medicare Advantage member since he became eligible for Medicare and has been very grateful for the coverage through two serious health issues: colon cancer (which was thankfully caught early and fully treated) and double-bypass heart surgery for a “widow-maker” blockage. Through everything, Gene says, “I’m still dancin’!”

Kay, 62, is a legal assistant and says she works in order to fund Gene’s green fees. Kay has two children, Pamela and Todd, and three grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler, and Cody. Besides her formidable dancing skills, her passions are her grandkids, golf, playing cards, and gardening.
