Elsa Childers
Elsa Childers, 63, grew up in Alameda, Calif. and spent many years as a singer . She currently works part-time as a cashier while also starting a local karaoke show. She has one daughter and two grandchildren.

Music runs strong in Elsa's family. Her twin sister "has a great blues voice," and her older brother sang opera with "a voice like Maria Lanza." "It gave you chills when he would sing," Elsa says. Both her daughter and granddaughter are also talented singers and performers.

"I would say the only regret I have would be that I didn't try to do more in music way back when I was young," Elsa says. "I have wanted to come to Nashville since school days and never did [back then]. I'm only hoping I can find someone who don't care about age and just lets me do my thing."
