I've spent the last year-and-a-half getting my non-music career more stable and this contest really marks my return to the music industry. I have been writing new songs and I am feeling good about the new direction of those songs.

Although I didn't make the finals, I want to thank you for the opportunity to "gig" again. As God would have it, I received an e-mail two days later, and I have a new co-producer who is going to help me finish my new CD! The time and rehearsal it took to participate in the Silver Stars project renewed my "drive" to get going again. It's been a few years since I cut an "ALBUM" (we old dogs never learn), so I will get lots of help and I am doing all new original songs and already have orders! If I can ever be of assistance on any future projects for you, please call on me!

Dear HealthSpring,
Hi. Robert and Eva Miller want to tell you how much we enjoyed the experience of performing in the Silver Stars. We have had a dream all our life of doing just that and had never had the chance to do so. Again, we had a ball, and if we aren't lucky enough to get in the top ten, we will look forward to seeing you next year. We also want to tell you what a wonderful job you and all the helpers did in running this contest. We can't thank you enough for giving us one of the most wonderful times of our life. God bless you and keep you, is my prayer.
I've got to say, we had a ball yesterday! We just wanted to say that we commend you and HealthSpring on a wonderful idea and fun time. I think this will go over big... Baby Boomers everywhere will come out to see or participate in this event: look, we did, and if for nothing else but fun.

Hi Billy and Jill: What about that!!!! Was perfect in my eyes. You two outdid yourselves in keeping everything going and making everyone feel good about being there. I was torn between staying till the end and coming on and getting to bed and resting. Know I missed some good acts. I do get nervous as all get-out, but still love doing it. Billy Block: You did an excellent job of MC-ing the talent show today. Thanks for doing this, and thanks to your wife, too, for being an excellent helper. We had so much fun. We stayed to the end, and enjoyed it all. Everybody worked so hard to keep everything running smoothly!
